A light-hearted crime drama set in a holiday resort on Spain’s Costa Blanca, where a reluctant and irresistibly laid-back detective solves murders under the Mediterranean sun. He is played by the versatile Scottish actor John Hannah, beloved by comedy audiences for roles ranging from Four Weddings and a Funeral to The Mummy franchise.

Dennis and Rosa are a crime-solving duo: a burned-out ex-cop running a shabby pub and a wannabe actress. They solve murders in hotels, clubs, caravan parks and on the beach, juggling sunburnt tourists, feuding families and missing cash while Inspector Maria and assistant Jesús watch them somehow crack the cases.
