Vittoria is a seventeen-year-old girl from an affluent Roman family who is forced to move to a provincial town after her mother enrolls her autistic brother, Matteo, at the Hellen Keller High School, an institution that specializes in providing practical and emotional support to students with disabilities and their families. After initially rejecting the new reality she finds herself in, Vittoria must overcome her prejudices and become part of a close-knit group of friends facing the typical challenges of adolescence, on a journey in which each character confronts their own limitations.
