The 2026 edition of Italian Global Series introduces a new and striking section: Midnight Screening, dedicated to midnight screenings on the public beach in front of Piazzale S. Martino.
An immersive experience blending major international serialized storytelling with a nocturnal seaside atmosphere, made even more intense by the use of wireless headphones for the audience, ensuring the surrounding area is not disturbed. The section’s tagline captures its spirit: “On the beach, no one can hear you scream…”.
The program features four highly anticipated titles of the season. It opens with The Terror: Devil in Silver, the return of the horror anthology series produced by Ridley Scott and based on Victor LaValle’s novel, centered on the psychological nightmare of a man committed to an increasingly dark psychiatric hospital.
Next is The Punisher: One Last Kill, a Marvel Television special bringing Frank Castle back to the forefront in a new standalone story written by Jon Bernthal, exploring vengeance, redemption, and the introduction of the formidable Gnucci widow.
The third night is dedicated to Alien: Earth, featuring a special episode set before the crash of the USCSS Maginot on Earth, expanding the franchise universe with new creatures and claustrophobic tension.
The series closes with House of the Dragon, opening its third season with a spectacular premiere of dragons and naval battles that marks the definitive escalation of the conflict between Rhaenyra and Alicent.
