Rosa Elettrica – In fuga con il nemico will debut exclusively on Sky and stream on NOW from May 8. The six-episode crime thriller was previously presented at the first edition of the Italian Global Series Festival 2025, in the Italian Showcase section, with the cast and director in attendance.
The series follows Rosa Valera, a young undercover agent played by Maria Chiara Giannetta. Alongside her, Francesco Di Napoli stars as Cocìss, a young Camorra boss who chooses to cooperate with the authorities. Around them unfolds a high-stakes escape that intertwines criminal dynamics with personal choices.
Produced by Sky Studios and Cross Productions, the series is directed by Davide Marengo and is loosely based on the novel by Giampaolo Simi. The screenplay is written by Giordana Mari, leading a writers’ room that includes Fortunata Apicella, Serena Patrignanelli and Michela Straniero.
At the core of the narrative is the evolving relationship between Rosa and Cocìss. After joining the Witness Protection Unit, Rosa is assigned to protect the young informant, now targeted by a rival clan. However, the situation escalates quickly, and she decides to act beyond official protocols.
As their escape unfolds, new elements begin to challenge the context in which they operate. Between chases, urgent decisions and unexpected revelations, Rosa faces a mission that goes beyond her experience, while her bond with Cocìss develops under constant pressure.
