Super Market on Prime Video: Italian Comedy Presented at IGS 2026

After its premiere in the Italian Showcase section of the Italian Global Series 2026, Super Market is now available to stream on Prime Video. Created and directed by the comedy collective Il Terzo Segreto di Satira, the new Italian comedy series debuts with six episodes, following the chaotic daily life of a neighborhood supermarket struggling to avoid closure.

Set on the outskirts of Milan, the series revolves around Eury, a discount supermarket where nothing ever goes according to plan. Every shift brings new challenges, difficult customers and unexpected situations. When the store ends up at the bottom of the company’s internal rankings, the regional manager delivers a clear ultimatum: improve performance or shut the business down for good.

A Workplace Comedy with an Ensemble Cast

Leading the cast is Alessandro Betti as store manager Enrico, alongside Katia Follesa, Marta Zoboli, Francesco Arienzo, Tommaso Cassissa, Gaia Bavaro, Davide Calgaro, Martina Bonan, Walter Leonardi, and Valerio Airò.

Built around an ensemble of eccentric characters, Super Market turns the everyday routine of a supermarket into a comedy filled with misunderstandings, workplace dynamics and unexpected relationships. At the center of the story is Edoardo, a young trainee whose first day on the job quickly becomes anything but ordinary.

From the Italian Showcase to Prime Video

Presented during the Italian Showcase at the Italian Global Series 2026, Super Market is one of the latest Italian comedy productions to join Prime Video’s lineup. Produced by Banijay Italia in collaboration with Prime Video and based on the original format created by NL Film and AVROTROS, the series combines workplace comedy with social satire, offering a humorous look at everyday life through the lens of an ordinary supermarket.

All six episodes of Super Market are now available exclusively on Prime Video.
