Awarded at the most recent edition of Canneseries, Boho is a comedy that explores themes of integration and the condition of women in contemporary society. What truly sets it apart, however, is its vibrant and colorful universe, where imagination can suddenly burst onto the screen in musical-like dance sequences. To fully appreciate its themes and atmosphere, the series will be presented with two episodes.
The feel-good Streamz Original series “BOHO” tells the story of the friendship between Kima, Nawal, and Alex, three women in their thirties from Borgerhout in Antwerp. Kima is a dreamer with a passion for dance, but her dreams constantly clash with her critical mother’s expectations. Fortunately, her sister Nawal and her friend Alex are there to help her search for happiness, joy, and what she truly wants. Borgerhout is known for its rich mix of traditions and cultures. The neighborhood serves not only as the colorful backdrop but also as the defining factor in this series. The lead roles are played by stand-up comedian Serine Ayari (Exen, Holy Rosita), actress Ikram Aoulad (Arcadia, Geldwolven), and hip-hop artist Miss Angel, who is making her acting debut.

Winner at the Seriencamp Festival in Cologne and recipient of the Best Director Award in the International Panorama section at Series Mania in Lille, The Flaws is the most original comedy of the year. Conceived, performed and brilliantly choreographed by the theatre collective Das Manko Gbr, the series tackles the world of work with a distinctly absurdist sensibility, somewhere between Charlie Chaplin’s Modern Times and Jacques Tati’s Playtime.
The Flaws are the typical employees of a German government office – quiet, obedient and spectacularly bad at their jobs. Protected by a compassionate boss, they are about to be fired when a group of consultants audits the department—until a lucky mix-up of events reroutes them to an advanced training program. Stranded on an autonomous bus, they embark on an absurd journey straight into professional disasters, including hospital mayhem, a mini-revolution on forklifts, and an ill-advised attempt to enter heaven.
