Last night, the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles hosted the 78th edition of the Emmy Awards, the most anticipated event for television series fans.
The long night was filled with moments of powerful emotion as well as the presentation of the major awards.
The biggest winners were Widow’s Bay, the horror series that, out of 19 nominations, took home an impressive 14 awards, and the medical drama The Pitt, which won the title of Outstanding Drama Series, taking home 7 awards in total.
Among the most moving moments was Michael J. Fox’s speech, which touched the audience in the theater as he shared a powerful lesson in strength and perseverance, drawing on his personal battle with Parkinson’s disease.
An authentic testimony that reminded everyone how a love of life and art can overcome even the most difficult challenges.
