“Erica – Una detective per caso” is a co-production between RTI – 7Verticale, produced by 7Verticale and directed by Ciro D’Emilio. Vanessa Incontrada plays Erica, a crime novelist experiencing a creative crisis who decides to return to her roots in Tuscany, in Piombino.
There, through a series of circumstances, she becomes involved in a murder and begins to put her skills and knowledge of crime fiction to use in helping with the investigation.
As the story unfolds, a relationship also develops with Leonardo, played by Francesco Scianna, a police officer who will accompany Erica in her investigations and stand by her side as they solve other intricate cases.
The series is the Italian adaptation of the French format “Erica”, itself inspired by the acclaimed novels of Swedish writer Camilla Läckberg.
