The legendary Lucky Luke returns to the screen with a new live-action series available on Disney+ from March 23, 2026. The famous gunslinger, created by Morris and developed in the stories of Goscinny, is now reimagined for a contemporary audience. Moreover, the French production directed by Benjamin Rocher marks a new chapter for one of the most beloved characters in European comics. The story follows Lucky Luke as he takes on an unexpected mission: helping Louise, a determined young woman, find her mysteriously missing mother. As the journey unfolds, they cross frontier towns and hostile territories. Here, bandits and legendary figures of the West come into play, including the Dalton brothers, Billy the Kid, and Calamity Jane. Alban Lenoir stars as the protagonist, delivering a more intense and realistic version of the lone cowboy. Alongside him, Billie Blain plays Louise with strong presence and energy. In addition, the cast includes Jérôme Niel,Alice Taglioni,Camille Chamoux and Victor Le Blond. The series consists of eight episodes. Therefore, the format fits modern streaming standards while offering a deeper exploration of the Lucky Luke myth.
