The official trailer for Euphoria 3 has been released, marking the return of the hit series created by Sam Levinson. The third season will debut in Italy on April 13 on Sky, NOW and HBO Max, with episodes released weekly. Widely regarded as one of HBO’s most successful recent productions, the series has earned 25 Emmy nominations, winning 9, and now returns with an even more ambitious new chapter.
At the center of the new season is Zendaya, joined by returning cast members Hunter Schafer, Jacob Elordi and Sydney Sweeney. The story moves beyond the high school setting, following the characters as they navigate a more unstable and adult phase of their lives, dealing with themes such as faith, guilt, and the possibility of redemption. Among the returning actors is also Eric Dane, in one of his final screen appearances.
Alongside the main cast, the new season introduces notable guest stars including Sharon Stone and Rosalía, as well as the return of Colman Domingo. The series is produced by A24, with Levinson also serving as executive producer, reinforcing the project’s strong authorial vision and stylistic coherence.
From a technical standpoint, Euphoria 3 represents a significant evolution from previous seasons. The decision to shoot on Kodak film in both 35mm and 65mm formats is a rare choice in contemporary television. Working closely with cinematographer Marcell Rév, the series develops a broader and more layered visual language, reflecting the characters’ transition into a more complex and mature reality.
With its April debut approaching, Euphoria remains one of the most anticipated titles of the season. The new trailer points toward a darker and more intense narrative direction, set to further strengthen the series’ global success.
