Pitch Crime: Applications Now Open for APA’s New Project Dedicated to Crime Series

Pitch Crime is now live, a new project by APA – Italian Audiovisual Producers Association, aimed at supporting the creation and development of crime series for the Italian and international audiovisual landscape. The initiative is part of a broader effort to promote emerging creativity and strengthen the dialogue between new talents and the industry.

The competition is specifically addressed to production companies already active in the film sector that wish to approach television series production, offering them the opportunity to develop an original project and engage with industry professionals.

The program is structured in an initial selection phase of submitted projects, followed by individual pitching sessions with producers and audiovisual industry experts.

The winning project will be awarded during the Italian Global Series Festival 2026, where it will receive the Maximo Award and a financial contribution of €20,000, intended for the development of the Series Bible.
